Brett comes to our club from Williamstown where he was recently honoured with VFL life membership after joining the Seagulls in 2006. He also played 75 AFL games with Hawthorn and then Carlton and 59 games for their VFL affiliates.  During Brett's time at Williamstown he captained the club from 2007 to 2011, won the best and fairest twice, was runner up three times and finished top three in the Liston Trophy on three occasions. He proudly captained the state on two occasions and was selected in the VFL Team of the Year on 4 occasions - (2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010).
