The Montrose Football Club like most other sporting organisations relies heavily on the support from local business and our member families. As Montrose does not have a high representation of industry or large business we face continuing challenges in securing the necessary sponsorship revenue required to keep our junior and senior teams competitive on and off the field.
We value our partnerships with our sponsors and will strive hard to provide them with the best value for money that we can.
With our new state of the art facilities, brilliant playing surface, top quality corporate dining experiences, increased game attendances and new look team the Montrose Football Club can now offer sponsors much greater value and an ability to entertain and promote our members and sponsors in style. What a great time to be involved in the club.
The club has an extensive range of sponsorship packages which offer a wide variety of benefits and opportunity. Packages and pricing can be negotiated and tailored to suit your own specific businesses needs.
Benefits available include but are not limited to;
• Signage on boundary fence, Pavillion, Scoreboard, coaches/sponsors boxes.
• Advertising on Team Jumpers/Uniforms. (Senior and junior teams)
• Advertising and promotion through the club’s web site and newsletters.
• Promotion at functions and awards nights.
• Invitations to major club and sponsors functions.
• Invitations for lunch in one of the corporate boxes.
• Complimentary tickets into any sponsors raffles and other major raffles held.
• Complimentary club memberships.

Where possible all of our sponsors regardless of what level will be featured on our web site with links to their own business web site. All of our packages can be tailored to include advertising and promotion at any level and will normally be tax deductible and GST claimable.
Signage around the grounds could be exposed to as many as 3,000 patrons on senior match days and approximately 750 patrons on junior match days).Throw in training nights and club functions and the exposure is both wide and regular, not to mention all year long.
Many of our local businesses within Montrose and indeed surrounding areas support the club in many and varying ways and we ask that our members and supporters show their support by in turn supporting them with their custom.
Please also note that if you feel your business can offer the club goods and/or services we would gladly work with you to tailor a package which can be of mutual benefit to each other. You may also consider any special offers you could make to club members in return for suitable promotional opportunities. Eg 10% discount on specific services and/or products.
We will welcome any level of sponsorship or interest in our packages and would love to have you on board as part of our club.
Supporting Sponsorship Initiatives:
Sponsor Member Offers and Business Directory
Whilst clubs appreciate the contribution of their sponsors more can be done to maximise the opportunities for sponsors to also benefit from their association with a club.
We are encouraging our sponsors to make available to members (and optionally supporters) a special member offer or discount. To facilitate this we will indicate in the directory whether a sponsor has a special offer. A link will be provided which will take the member to the sponsor details page which will detail what the offer is.
Members will hopefully be encouraged to regularly look at the directory to locate sponsors and more particularly those which have a special offer for them.

Sponsor Job Vacancy promotion
A special page has been designed to allow any of our sponsors to post job vacancy information. We feel this is another way we can add value to the partnership and is also another reason to get our members and supporters to regularly check the web site.

Sponsors Lunch
To recognise the important contribution of our sponsors the club will hold a special sponsors lunch normally scheduled mid season at one of the home games. For further details refer to the events / social calendar on this web site.
Sponsors Raffle.
A special sponsors raffle will be conducted. Sponsors will receive one or more complimentary tickets depending on the level of sponsorship committed to the club. The raffle is to be drawn at the sponsors lunch and the winner will receive free fence sign advertising rights for the following year or a day in the corporate box at a home game for 4 persons..
Player Sponsor Incentive Program.
New player incentive programs have been introduced whereby any senior player obtaining a sponsor for the club will receive rebates / discounts on their registration fees and will have their photo displayed in the rooms featuring their sponsor. Depending on the level of player sponsorship sponsors will receive a combination of membership benefits, invitations and raffle tickets. The top level player sponsorship will entitle the sponsor to have a fence sign displayed on the boundary line fence for a full 12 month period.
