Welcome to MFC Senior Football

Well what a year 2020 was going to be.  Just as people have found around the world it has proved to be an unpredictable and tricky year to navigate for our club, it’s members and supporters.  While we look in the rear-view mirror at what could have been, we prepare for 2021.

Never before in the history of the club has there been 5 senior teams and that is how we are shaping up in 2021 with our usual Seniors, Reserves, U19 x 2 teams and our very first Women’s team which gives a destination for our extremely exciting and skilful girls that have pioneered the girls competition for Montrose FNC in the clubs very successfully executed junior program over the last 5 years.

We are proud to announce the reappointment of Peter Bastinac, well supported and complimented by Brian Chamberlain, David Watson, Andrew Haining, Michael Edwards, Harry Van Coll and Paul Isbel.  With more positions left to be filled for Women’s and our second U/19’s Coaches, we are in the process of ensuring we have the right fit to suit our club and develop our players in line with the club’s high values and expectations.  Our values reflect an endeavour to earn respect at all levels while on the pathway to winning success.
